Part Time Hifz Program

Part-Time Hifz Program

The Part-Time Hifz Program offers students in mainstream education a dedicated and structured pathway for Quranic memorization, delivered alongside their academic studies. Held three times a week—including dedicated Saturday classes for Islamic Studies—the program is designed to harmoniously integrate religious and secular education.

Students develop fluency in Quranic recitation with correct tajweed, while engaging in rigorous memorization techniques such as tasmi‘ (recitation to a teacher) and murāja‘a (systematic revision). Assessments are led by experienced teachers and supervised by the esteemed Shaykh of Al-Itqan, ensuring high standards of memorization and recitation. Entry requires successful completion of the ‘Pre-Quran’ Program and the ‘Tajweed Bridging’ Program, both of which lay the groundwork for a strong foundation in Quranic reading and pronunciation.

In addition to memorization, students benefit from character development, spiritual enrichment, and a deeper connection to Islamic values. The program fosters discipline, consistency, and love for the Quran—essential traits that contribute to a student’s personal and spiritual growth. By accommodating academic responsibilities, the Part-Time Hifz Program empowers students to excel both in their religious commitment and their worldly aspirations.
